From October 2021 to September 2022 I worked as a Software Engineer Bourne Leisure Ltd, working remotely.

As an engineer on the Checkout and Myaccount team I helped with building and maintaining a high-traffic mission-critical consumer web application and backend responsible for holiday booking and management for Haven Holidays, a subsidiary of Bourne Leisure Limited. This new application was part of an initiative to modernise Haven's web offering.

Additionally I spearheaded initiatives both within the team and wider to improve code quality and working practices, testing standards and to enforce website accessibility, ensuring a better experience for both developers and customers.
